Proverbs 1; Verses 6-7; Raising Discernment

Continuing on in Proverbs. Raising discernment. A much needed thing these days. A matter of life and death. Thank you for taking a look †

(Proverbs 21:16) "The man that wandereth out of the way of understanding shall remain in the congregation of the dead."

(Proverbs 1:6-7) "To understand a proverb, and the interpretation; the words of the wise, and their dark sayings.

Who is that again? 1:5 "A wise man will hear, and will increase learning; and a man of understanding shall attain unto wise counsels."

They will have the discernment to know where to go. Through Spiritual Discipline in God's Word, learning in growing in His Word. It's gonna happen in sincerity. I can also tell you nothing will happen if you don't want to change. Many go to God's Word with ulterior motives. He only likes one motive, humble. He is right in everything, and we are wrong. He is up above, and we are below.
With that being said:

Understand here = Perception through discernment. Proverbs = A side by side comparison. What's it take? Rationale reasoning/reasoning skills through the Holy Spirit. To know and understand the Spiritual to the Spiritual, and how the physical relates the the Spiritual. So we put the Spiritual first.
Dark in the sense it is hidden from their eyes. Not able to understand the questions that arise. The very case in point for a Proverb in the first place, a side by side comparison separating, giving us the answer in the middle. As it truth should be like night and day. Light from darkness, Life from death.
Christ of course, summed it all up, "Do unto others as you would have them done to you." Christ is giving us simplification to stay within it. Now we have to read, study God's Word to find out exactly what that is. Always staying within that parameter. Simply said as well, "two wrongs never make a right", as well.

Once again, I want to give a very simple Biblical concept to be serving Christ in love. We do not live not do, we live to do for. Doing for our Father through Christ, serving out of love. Notice that in all of Christ' teaching. He don't say do this, and that. Without showing how it's done. Example: Living not to sin, or living and doing for Christ, one will automatically not sin. That is in love, the other is in fear, fear based.

7The fear of the LORD is the beginning of knowledge: but fools despise wisdom and instruction."

(This word fear means reverence from the Hebrew. To respect His authority in all knowing. Proverbs of course, showing us how live in Righteousness through faith. To begin to even know anything, to be able to get to wisdom/instruction. This is common sense of course, if one does not respect a thing they won't listen. One ear and out the other. We want to hear what the Holy Spirit says. Like putting your behind the ear, moving into pay special close attention. From the Greek that would be the physical action according to the Spiritual definition).

There is knowledge and the rest is discernment understanding the path of righteousness (this is the theme/concept all throughout Proverbs, you will always see that order). It does take time to put that knowledge together. Bits and piece here and there, no good. Therefore, "knowing is truly half the battle."

Fools = Remember Christ said call no one a fool without cause. But let's remember there in Matthew 5 even more. It means to consider them worthless, good for nothing. As they would have no salt. What would without cause be? They have not sinned against you, they are Christian. Or they have sinned against you and repented. Common sense! God is not angry at them but you are? Very foolish indeed.

Despise = Why hate God's Word? Here despise means contempt with resentment. Now we're getting somewhere. Contempt for one of course shuts everything off and not hearing them. Do we really seek to understand first as opposed to be understood? This is huge in the point when one would not have cause. Get off the high-horse. or mount up for satan and do his work then (Revelation 9:16-19). Why would I say that? Matthew 5:22-25. Simple, because of unforgiveness, contempt, resentment, bitter, satan is with you. You are working for him (Matthew 18:32-35 as well).

Note: Matthew 5:25 it says agree with thine adversary. It actually means to be well-minded. Same concept as wiser than the serpent. And of course, if Matthew 5:25 is not done satan is wiser than a person. Just as the strongman, means stronger in mind. Matthew 5:25 and Matthew 18:35 show us the same concept. Many say they have relationship with God. But do not forgive and repent, asking for forgiveness with that person. They are paying the debt. Meaning Christ paid the debt at the cross for these things, going back to the very foundation. So now with evil spirits around them, and on them, they are forced to go back to the cross. Square one, where satan was defeated in the first place. This is why. As I say God is doing them a favor. the cross just ain't getting the job done in their mind. Now they have no choice, that is if they don't want satan on their butts. Way it is, way it's going to be.

If you do not forgive others their trespasses, He won't forgive you. Stuck. The stuck crackhead has satan on them as well. My point there is quite looking around (being in self-righteousness) and look at self. What you need to do. Then you can help the crackhead.

Make no mistake, they will rather have world peace as well. Not being peacemakers through God's Word.
