Luke 15:8-10 Parable of the Lost Coin; Absolute Joy to Go Around

The awesome chapter of Luke 15. The second part in the three part parable in Luke 15. Showing us the outstretched arm and God's love towards us-ward.

Thanks for taking a look †

(Luke 15:8-10) "Either what woman having ten pieces of silver, if she lose one piece, doth not light a candle, and sweep the house, and seek diligently (carefully) till she find it?

(The answer is no one of course: one piece of silver was a day's wage then. So this is not like losing a penny, nickel, or a dime in the couch. If you make $12 an hour. this is kinda like losing a hundred dollar bill in the couch).

(The dark house is symbolic for our spiritual bodies).

(Physically, The longer we searched, we would be flipping furniture over in a dark house. But Christ with no reckless abandonment here. But a careful, relentless, search of their valuable heart. The only thing on the mind is finding that lost $100 bill. The World has stopped moving till it's found. Why wouldn't it be? they worked to get it. So it is with Christ, He paid the heavy price in the work on the cross, and not willing to lose anything valuable and precious to Him. God's will is that all come to repentance. But time is running short now here in the end-times).

9And when she hath found it, she calleth her friends and her neighbours together, saying, Rejoice with me; for I have found the piece which I had lost.

(The excitement of finding that $100 bill. Instant relief. The World can start moving again. The thing about it too, many times after it's found we would want to share it with others. It gives us a different perspective. We could of easily just had lost it for good. What an amazing parable here).

(The most precious thing this World can know. A lost sinner coming to repentance/belief going from death to life. If one is not happy over another taking that step from death to life, then one should look deep at their own faith where they stand. If one is a Christian this is what it's all about).

10Likewise, I say unto you, there is joy in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner that repenteth."

(Christians should be able to recognize this, and praising them (building up) with the LORD. If He is happy, why wouldn't another Christian. This is God's will first and foremost. Therefore, this should be Christians will first and foremost. Be someone else' breakthrough for the sake of Christ and the Gospel).

AMEN †
