Luke 6; Verses 37-38; Be a Christian Leader for our Father Through Christ; Give it to Get it;

First, there are some false teachers who use Luke 6:38 to say sow a financial seed (which is false teaching in itself ).

What it means is you can forget about salvation if you're waiting to give it, to get it first for yourself (consider how selfish that is) (compassion, mercy, forgiveness): We have to make these steps individually first. If not you, then no one does. Be a leader through faith in Christ.

Look how much that takes away from Christ' Words with these false teachers. Because that is how we operate for salvation.

This is why the vicious cycle of the blame game happens. Doing right becomes dependent upon whether the other person does it first. Wrong. Someone has to make the first step in faith. If one does not make the first step then nothing can be solved as well. As it is God's Word and His wisdom cries out with the answers right there in this senseless and helpless situation.

Just as your salvation is not dependent upon anyone else. We all answer to THE LORD individually.

(Luke 6:37-38) "Judge not, and ye shall not be judged: condemn not, and ye shall not be condemned: forgive, and ye shall be forgiven:

38Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom. For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again."

The very motive of sowing a financial seed shows where the where the heart and the treasure is. Like spending the whole life searching for a "lost" hidden treasure.

Instead of doing that Christ is searching for you. Do we see Him?

(Matthew 13:44) "Again, the kingdom of heaven is like unto treasure hid in a field; the which when a man hath found, he hideth, and for joy thereof goeth and selleth all that he hath, and buyeth that field."

Living Free vs. Living in Fear/Consequences of/from God; Colossians 2; Romans 8

The way of the world is to do the right thing based off the fear of consequences (punishment from God and man). Not so with a Christian. That is why there is no law with the fruits of the Holy Spirit as well. Christians do the right thing for our Father through Christ to which there is no fear of consequences but we have the Holy Spirit--the Comforter/The Heart warmer. As we no longer live in condemnation. Just as we do not serve God's law on stone but our Father through Christ. Christians do not need a piece of paper/the system to control their life, tell them what to do. The law is there for correction written in the heart and minds, but the Holy Spirit allows us to serve the LORD. And that is freedom from all, bondage and fear of consequences.

Doing right for a person that saved you, or doing right on account of the physical things of the world is not and cannot be freedom. Because of the fear of consequences automatically set in the heart and the conscience of the mind it becomes contingent in what can be gotten out of a situation. For example: Robbing a bank as opposed to finding a million dollars in the desert where no one is watching.

(Colossians 2:20-23) "Wherefore if ye be dead with Christ from the rudiments of the world, why, as though living in the world, are ye subject to ordinances,

21(Touch not; taste not; handle not;

22Which all are to perish with the using;) after the commandments and doctrines of men?

23Which things have indeed a shew of wisdom in will worship, and humility, and neglecting of the body; not in any honour to the satisfying of the flesh."

(Because you would be fighting and at war with yourself here (Always God first though naturally set in). Morally correct looks good generally speaking, and honorable. But it is not serving our Father through Christ, but serving religion/the law, thus the fear of the consequences will be there).

This is very important to learn for those who are just learning the Bible, or do not know the Bible at all. Essentially, we get busy living not to do, or get busy living to do for our Father through Christ. "Get busy living, or get busy dying."

(Romans 8:1-2) "There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.

2For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death."
And more Scriptures showing exactly this above:

(Romans 8:12-17) "Therefore, brethren, we are debtors, not to the flesh, to live after the flesh.

13For if ye live after the flesh, ye shall die: but if ye through the Spirit do mortify the deeds of the body, ye shall live.

14For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.

15For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father.

16The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God:

17And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together."

More examples;

Verse 21 Colossians 2: Basically saying what was said in the post. Living not to do, instead of living for our Father through Christ. An example: Touch not = As in don't touch man's another wife, or as in the post robbing a bank. Well, you would love your wife through Christ. As a result you would not want to touch another man's wife. Instead of not robbing a bank trust in the Lord and being content/satisfied. Living not to cheat/adultery on your spouse as opposed to truly loving them through the LORD. You would not cheat on them automatically.

Persecution; Matthew 5; Verses 11-12

Persecution. Thanks for taking a look †

You say,

"I'm a Christian, and their making fun of me, and calling me names, they reject me, though I have only their own well-being at heart and mind."

Jesus Christ says, "Don't take it personal, they did it to me as well."

(Matthew 5:11-12) "Blessed are ye, when men shall revile you, and persecute you, and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely (lying), for my sake.

(For  the sake of Jesus Christ. Not our own sake--so nothing personal. They have no frame of reference of having the Holy Spirit, they don't know any better (that does not leave them excuse).

Many think persecution just to be physical. No, that is just the end results from all the spiritual persecutions that take place before that.

(Persecution is one of the following; harass; trouble; causing/wanting them to go; causing them to flee; failure of justice. To be treated unfairly because of Christ' name, and all for the Word of God).

(Knowing they have free will/choice to do so is huge. If they want to go to the lake of fire then God will give them their every nightmare come true. Christ paid the ultimate price for that not to happen).

12Rejoice, and be exceeding glad: for great is your reward in heaven: for so persecuted they the prophets which were before you."

(Truly nothing new under the sun here. It started with Abel murdered by Cain in Genesis 4. Before salvation we're all God-haters, God-blamers, (enmity with God--a deep rooted hatred. It is not us they hate first, it's what we stand for. Many think we hate them as well. Because of the same reasoning skills without the Holy Spirit. What is that? the ability to love people, but yet hate their actions. Which is why we love them. We don't want to see one perish. They don't count God's tough love as love. But Christ says if we love Him, we will obey His commandments (John 14:15).

(So, if it's done to Christ, it will surely be done to His people. Our reward is in Heaven, they have their reward--this life. Which is not reward at all).

(John 15:18-19) "If the world hate (detest) you, ye know that it hated me before it hated you.

19If ye were of the world, the world would love his own: but because ye are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hateth you."

Unfortunately, now those who persecute God's true people also call themselves Christians. The Disciples dealt with a lot, but never that too much. But, as it is written in the end-times. That ends when they get honest with God and themselves.

Amen †
