Ephesians 6; Verse 18; Praying; Prayer Requests

Finishing up with the Gospel Armor. Not part of the equipment directly. But indirectly. As without prayer there is no relationship. As with any relationship without communication there is nothing.

Thanks for taking a look †

(Ephesians 6:18) "Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance (adversity) and supplication (request in asking) for all saints."

(Praying--offering to God through the Holy Spirit. Not the flesh wants, or getting the flesh into it. But through the Spirit, the Holy Spirit with our own spirit. Now when getting the flesh into it our requests will naturally be of the flesh. Praying in the Spirit and not the flesh we're also able to confirm God's Will for us).
Vain repetitions where chanting and flesh movement get involved, this is mindlessness telling our very selves the heart is not in it. Why would God answer for our positive?

(The prayer also consists of other Christians, their needs. Keeping an eye on them, protecting them. Through perseverance: steadfastness through adversity. In other words, keep on keeping on--being a can-do type person. We're going right through the trials like walking through fire).

(This is quite important as the opposite is self-defeat, and giving up. Something we all can relate to. But as we see the vital importance not letting it get there. Prayer here with others brings together, with that touching of the Holy Spirit, closeness, warmth, as the Holy Spirit is the comforter--the heart warmer).

All in all prayer in our communication with our Father through Christ should consist as if we were talking to person right there. But of course, lifting Him on up on High. You don't sit down with someone and start bobbing, knocking, weaving like one is on a boxing match. Chanting back and forth. No, it would be seen as disrespectful. So how much more with THE LORD?

It is very important this is included in the Gospel Armor. In any spiritual attack you want to pray for peace of mind knowing God is in control. Communication with Him does just that.

Amen†
