Matthew 6; Verses 14-15; Forgiveness

Thank you for taking a look †

(Matthew 6:14-15) "For if ye forgive men (the word men is mankind) their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you:

(Christ just went though the Lord's prayer, emphasizing forgiveness. Note: Christ is talking to Christians/believers here. We know this for two reasons: 1) He is talking to His followers. 2) First is to forgive others. Before salvation we always deal with God first in repentance/forgiveness of sins. Once again, we don't deal with God first, we don't even know how to forgive, or what to forgive for that matter. The order is of the utmost importance in understanding before and after salvation. Important because we do not look to man for salvation. We deal with the Lord individually.

Now trespass and sin are synonymous. Sin to miss the mark, whether knowing or not. Because trespass is a sin, it's an individual sin person to person here.

(
Iniquity is a condition of the heart and mind. Lawlessness rooted from idolatry. The differences must be pointed out. Yes we forgive all. In cases such as murder (premeditated--lying in wait, not a killing of passion from emotional circumstances) and rape. God says it's on Him, and send the that murderer to God. When God says do something, your not accountable for it. Any other crime you don't feel guilty about carrying out justice. This is why we learn God's Word. What to believe and how to feel correctly. Eye for eye, tooth for tooth is not classified under murder and rape).

15But if ye forgive not men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses."

(That burden is going to be carried on them. Thus must be gone over. I've seen a lot of dogs, learn enough of the Word here to do things on purpose, then hold a Christian to forgiveness, saying your not doing God's Word if you don't. Yep, forgive them. Then say bye, hit the road jack. Forgiveness and keeping someone at distance are two different things. Christians are not door mats. We define the terms for the wicked. Christ said don't give that which is holy to dogs. Their feeding frenzy is cut off when you cut them off. Then again, if they knew what forgiveness meant they'd be Christians).

(There are many reasons to forgive. But not forgiving is wasted energy. Burning up that daily bread quick. Causing one to hunger to more. It is meaningless and pointless to waste your time to live your life settling the score. Now yes justice should be served accordingly. However, we do not wish evil upon them. We are truly are in their prison where it effects all day-to-day emotions. This is weakness and weakness in mind. The other person most of the time is paying no mind at all. As far as meaningless goes going through life having a crush on someone, and the feelings are not mutual. The point is they are not interested and let's get over self).

(You could write a book to the mental--to emotional--to physical damage unforgiveness causes a person. We have one it's called the Bible. Complete bitterness, living in revenge, out of spite where one's heart cannot even be penetrated, and penetrated with love. Therefore, you cannot obtain true love without forgiveness).

Emotional intelligence naturally begins at the cross. We no longer live in blame towards God for our sins, blaming others for our sins. Using sins against us as a springboard mechanism always playing the victim turning into lying and then pathological lying as grow older. Now the thing is also this person not only does it the main object, they do to all others to some degree. They live in it. Fighting other over the blame of your own sin is complete foolishness. Consider a couple children arguing and fighting over small things, "you did it, no you did it." What does the parent do? Will you stop arguing getting to find out who done what!

(That is what we look like. God wants blame assigned correctly, repented of taking full responsibility being sorry because of remorse, and then move on).

(Never confuse with forgiveness with justice served. Justice served has saved many of souls including mine).

Amen †
