The word do (commandments) means to produce, bring forth. As in fruit from one self. If we do that we partake in that healing tree. The tree that was not allowed access to from Genesis 3:24 with that flaming sword (the WORD).
If God allows access then we have no savior, and justice on Earth at all. Above all satan has to pay, and pay with his life he will. So, we'll all those who follow him once again after the Millennium.
(We're supposed to be laying the axe to ourselves through Christ', belief/repentance. Getting to the root of the problem--our condition before God before salvation. Then through Christ a tree of righteousness. The condition acceptable to God, then doing right).
15For without are dogs, and sorcerers, and whoremongers, and murderers, and idolaters, and whosoever loveth and maketh a lie.
Dogs = one of God's biggest enemies. Impure mind towards the Word. What does a dog do? A dog will try to eat the green grass, bread and meat, lap up all the water lick their lips and move like nothing of it all. Anything put in front of them, never even tasting the food. Stemming from extremely poor taste buds.
16I Jesus have sent mine angel to testify unto you these things in the churches. I am the root and the offspring of David, and the bright and morning star.
(What's that? ALL the book of Revelation written to the Churches. Pay attention to those who say, "the church is gone after Revelation 4." So, here you get the reminder that the tribes are the church as well. Unlike false rapture/pre trib rapture teachers who make the church and the people of Israel separate. They are scattered to the 4 corners of the Earth until Christ comes back. Them are NOT the tribes in the land of Israel now).

this question also mind-boggled the pharisees: How can the Christ be
Lord over king David and his son? Foolish question, through the womb of
course--umbilical cord to umbilical cord.

Why is one trying to buy their salvation? It's free, meaning we don't do anything as in going to the cross, paying for our sins physically. Buying our salvation and working our way to Heaven. Salvation is free,it is the response to it that requires sacrifice.
