Revelation 8; Verses 10-11; Trumpet 3

Continuing on in the 7 trumpets in the awesome book of Revelation. The 3rd trumpet. Thanks for taking a look †

(Revelation 8:10-11) "And the third angel sounded, and there fell a great star from heaven, burning as it were a lamp, and it fell upon the third part of the rivers, and upon the fountains of waters;

Remember the trumpets are spiritual leading to the physical condition. It is not a literal sound but seen by the actions after them. The trumpets are a command to action.

The foolish virgins lamps have went out. The rivers and fountains the source flowing into what will become Babylon.

(This star is not satan himself of course. This is the 3rd trumpet. We're told the interpretation in the next verse. The star is symbolic for satan's influence hearing the wrong Gospel/the good news. How so you ask? The star was burning as it were a lamp--shining. But, it's not then the waters become bitter from hearing the wrong Gospel. Spiritually killing people. This makes 2/3's from the last trumpet who are ready to take the Mark of the beast in/at the 6th seal, at the 6th trumpet, and at the 6th vial. The last 1/3 still need to be convinced after the 6th trumpet, which leads to the 6th vial, with satan claiming to be Christ/God).

Let's take a look at all this:

The 6th trumpet (command to action, it's spiritual which leads to vials/judgment).

(Revelation 9:14) "Saying to the sixth angel which had the trumpet, Loose the four angels which are bound in the great river Euphrates."

The setting, the 6th trumpet has sounded from the previous verse. This is where satan begins to claim to be Christ/God at the 6th trumpet, and we will go to the last 1/3.


(Revelation 9:18-19) "By these three was the third part of men killed, by the fire, and by the smoke, and by the brimstone, which issued out of their mouths.

19For their power is in their mouth, and in their tails: for their tails were like unto serpents, and had heads, and with them they do hurt."

(How was that again? their mouths--spiritual. These are satan's "super preachers/false teachers/prophets", Christ talked about over and over again in Matthew 24, Mark 13, and Luke 21. Before satan claims to be Christ/God, and after. Like unto serpents).

(Like cold-blooded animals these false preachers are attempting to get the World to worship satan as Christ/God. Their message is likened to the kenites--the off spring of the serpent--satan. More about snakes; They blend into their environment to catch their predators; legless reptiles; Their mouths are full of venom; harmful bacteria. You try and take in that snake and pick it up you get bitten. But here, these snakes are constrictors using that tail to suffocate. This is a slow painful spiritual death as one worships satan as Jesus. This is like the snake having you suffocated but not yet quite finishing the job, letting you suffer,  with their fangs exposed instilling fear in their victim, as the heart is sinking in fear of being eaten alive).

(They claim to be God's chosen people and are not. They are snakes).

Okay, the Biblical analogies seem endless for the serpent. Let's move on:

What does Christ say about our lamps burning (we need olive oil for that--the Holy Spirit) before HIS return?

(Luke 12:35-37) "Let your loins be girded about, and your lights burning;

(Their lights/lamps have already went out, no truth to stand, which is why see the worry and fear, and their hearts will be failing them for fear. Christ made a way out, they decided to try and remove HIM).

36And ye yourselves like unto men that wait for their lord, when he will return from the wedding; that when he cometh and knocketh, they may open unto him immediately.

(Cross reference: Matthew 25. Stay a spiritual virgin with the oil. Olive oil, which is to say the Holy Spirit. Remember, they are not allowed to come in. But left outside knocking wanting to come in).

37Blessed are those servants, whom the lord when he cometh shall find watching: verily I say unto you, that he shall gird himself, and make them to sit down to meat, and will come forth and serve them."

(We serve Christ until He comes back, then He serves those who waited on Him. They did not sit around for some non-existent rapture/pre trib rapture).

The river reference. The correct Christ/the correct Gospel:

(John 7:37-38) "In the last day, that great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried, saying, If any man thirst, let him come unto me, and drink.

(The correct gospel quenches that thirst. No famine here. Always flowing. And so should the Word of God when taught correctly. Always flowing correctly).

38He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water."

(Christ is the living water, out source for the water that makes sweet not bitter. Remember Exodus 15:22-27 as well. Brought from the red sea the children of Israel were very thirsty, the waters were bitter. In a type of Christ here:


(Exodus 15:23) "And when they came to Marah, they could not drink of the waters of Marah, for they were bitter: therefore the name of it was called Marah.

(Exodus 15:25) "And he cried unto the LORD; and the LORD shewed him a tree, which when he had cast into the waters, the waters were made sweet: there he made for them a statute and an ordinance, and there he proved them."

So, the rejection of the Gospel and worshiping satan as Christ/God brings the plagues/vials in Revelation 16.

(Exodus 15:26) "And said, If thou wilt diligently hearken to the voice of the LORD thy God, and wilt do that which is right in his sight, and wilt give ear to his commandments, and keep all his statutes, I will put none of these diseases upon thee, which I have brought upon the Egyptians: for I am the LORD that healeth thee."

What was that? The plagues coming soon to come at the vials. When? After the 6th trumpet. Then the 6th vial, and to vial to succession to vial 7 from there. In other words, the vials DO NOT begin until satan claims to be Christ/God. 


Back to Revelation 8:11,

11And the name of the star is called Wormwood: and the third part of the waters became wormwood; and many men died of the waters, because they were made bitter.

(Rivers of course flow into the sea. Which are the people. So the star is symbolic for being bitter, logically satan's influence. Bitterness towards God and then people end at belief/repentance. This is easy to see. Salvation is good will towards people for salvation).

(The spring is the origin of the water. Where does it come from? clean unfiltered spring water? or the filtered man's Gospel in man's traditions? Which is no Gospel at all).

One simple Biblical concept is when a person hears the Gospel/Word of God wrong. They come out twice as worse and bitter than before. That's just common sense. The parable of the sower Matthew 13 explains that well. II Peter chapter 2, among many others.


We have a sincerity problem.
