Hebrews 5; Verses 11-14; Growing Pains

The subject is Christ being the high priest and having that relationship with the Lord, thus reality. Thank you for taking a look †

(Hebrews 5:11-14) "Of whom we have many things to say, and hard to be uttered, seeing ye are dull of hearing.

(The perception here, the eyes and ears what is being taken in (which we shall see this exercising the senses in the mind through the Word growing). Not even trying to move on from the milk here. Milk = salvation come to know why and how you needed to be saved by the savior, Christ. I would hope so that is that very foundation one should be living and claiming Christ).

Remember, the eyes and ears determine what we take in, and then the other senses (smell, taste, touch).

12For when for the time ye ought to be teachers, ye have need that one teach you again which be the first principles of the oracles of God; and are become such as have need of milk, and not of strong meat.

(You should be teachers by now. Teaching the meat which is spiritual discipline. But we need to go back the beginning, the cross and what it means. Consider yourself babes. This of course is painful. Who likes to be told this reality? Not only do we go back to the beginning and some growing pains, but the pain here you are learning wrong).

13For every one that useth milk is unskilful in the word of righteousness: for he is a babe.

(Righteousness = The condition acceptable to God, then doing right. That condition begins at the cross of course. Unskillful = Inexperienced in application of the Word).

14But strong meat belongeth to them that are of full age, even those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil."

(Relating the physical to the spiritual. Growing up the babe goes from milk weaning off it to meat. Of course, we know this is not an easy process. Gonna be a little vomiting. Way it is, way it's going to be. It's a prerequisite).

(This word Exercised is past tense of course here. But from the Greek is gymnazō where we get the word gymnasium shortened to gym. It means not only to exercise, but exercise vigorously. Imagine exercising and you come to muscle failure where you want to be to gain. Then go for one more, that is likened to the implication here. I'll be your spotter anytime. be mine too).

That being said, we are aware where we stand when we get real with ourselves what we can or cannot do yet. Practice is needed.

I'm not talking down to anyone. I've been here before too.

Okay,

(In truth no pain, no gain. Remember, we are dying to self, and self will. What is being exercised here? The mind, battle of the mind from that self will to spiritual discipline in transfer to God's Will. Through relationship with our Father through Christ, serving Christ automatically keeping His commandments in love, God's will is automatically being accomplished. That is how the LORD works, 3 birds with 1 stone if you will. Just happens to be satan is that false rock/stone).

Remember, bodily exercise profit a little. But it's just vain/vanity if we're in it for the wrong reasons. Therefore, no pain, no gain spiritually there. Exercise does not have to mean gym here. Whatever you do to exert your physical body.

Me, myself, I always view the battle with satan receiving all of God's Word with an open heart, and a battle of minds, survival of the fittest for our Father through Christ. Cause we are going to war when he comes in the flesh to come to claim to be Christ/God. We don't have salvation down at the cross we have nothing. That is how we overcome, then spiritual discipline, Christ commandments from the heart i.e. motives.

The Gospel Armor of course includes everything stated above. We will continue to teach it in depth as it as that important to know and understand. As we go to war with satan. Therefore, with all the gym, battle, war references we should be going it with enthusiasm and passion for our FATHER through CHRIST.

Reference:

(Isaiah 28:9-13) "Whom shall he teach knowledge? and whom shall he make to understand doctrine? them that are weaned from the milk, and drawn from the breasts.

10For precept must be upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little:

11For with stammering lips and another tongue will he speak to this people.

12To whom he said, This is the rest wherewith ye may cause the weary to rest; and this is the refreshing: yet they would not hear.

13But the word of the LORD was unto them precept upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little; that they might go, and fall backward, and be broken, and snared, and taken."

Amen!!!
