Revelation 11; Verses 7-10; The Two Witnesses (cont)

Continuing on in Revelation chapter 11. The two witnesses (cont).

(Revelation 11:7-10) "And when they shall have finished their testimony, the beast that ascendeth out of the bottomless pit shall make war against them, and shall overcome them, and kill them.


So, the two witnesses have brought plagues/vials 2, 3, and 4 with them. The beast has had enough of their judgment so they think. This of course covers all people accountable for it that took part in the system, in orders from satan. The new world order/one world religious system. satan and them world peace aye? Not when it threatens their world lying peace in world control and domination.

(Remember in concordance with the last verse and vial 4 they failed to repent. So this 3-1/2 days in vial 5 gives is an important time frame. Complete darkness after they have murdered the two witnesses).

Quick recap. Vial 2 and 3 here: (Revelation 11:6) "These have power to shut heaven, that it rain not in the days of their prophecy: and have power over waters to turn them to blood, and to smite the earth with all plagues, as often as they will."

(Revelation 16:3-4) "And the second angel poured out his vial upon the sea; and it became as the blood of a dead man: and every living soul died in the sea.

4And the third angel poured out his vial upon the rivers and fountains of waters; and they became blood."

Vial 4 here from Revelation 11:5, "And if any man will hurt them, fire proceedeth out of their mouth, and devoureth their enemies: and if any man will hurt them, he must in this manner be killed."

(Revelation 16:8-9) "And the fourth angel poured out his vial upon the sun; and power was given unto him to scorch men with fire.

9And men were scorched with great heat, and blasphemed the name of God, which hath power over these plagues: and they repented not to give him glory."



(Remember the weather always to give the events spiritually, the conditions of the weather condition coming, you can discern the weather but not discern the times). The sun symbolic for light/truth. So they have completely rejected so the next vial is number 5 darkness. Which is why the day of the Lord is a day of darkness, not light. Please check a few references here; Amos 5:18; Joel 2:2; Zephaniah 1:15 among many). (Please refer to the last Revelation 11 study for a further look into the blood and fire explanation).

Let's take a quick look:

(Revelation 16:10-11) "And the fifth angel poured out his vial upon the seat of the beast; and his kingdom was full of darkness; and they gnawed their tongues for pain,


(Right there on the seat of the beast, the heart).

11And blasphemed the God of heaven because of their pains and their sores, and repented not of their deeds."

(Speaking evil against the Lord but they think satan is Christ/God).

To Revelation 16:8.

8And their dead bodies shall lie in the street of the great city, which spiritually is called Sodom and Egypt, where also our Lord was crucified.

(This of course Jerusalem. The seat is Jerusalem of course where satan sets up shop claiming to be the savior of the world).


9And they of the people and kindreds and tongues and nations shall see their dead bodies three days and an half, and shall not suffer their dead bodies to be put in graves.

(This is just cruel as it gets. How bad is this? How nasty, vicious is this? Well, you see right now even bitter hated enemies would give their enemy a proper burial. Even the worst of the worst in prison. That's okay, they don't need a grave, they serve the God of the living, and not the dead. Such as these dead man walking who party on at their expense. When only the two witnesses are here to help them. They testify for Christ. What's that? salvation, grace through faith. What don't they want to do? Repent. Accountable for their sins).

(This is going to quit the spectacle, a sporting event to them in the arena here. This of course, not even possible until the age of technology. Which the irony is we're back before the stone age as far as "smarts" go. I consider smarts to use the LORD''s creation properly and enjoy it. Not misuse it and make you miserable. Not even know what makes you miserable. The LORD gives all wisdom. Also, they are testifying for Christ that He is the resurrection and the life. So, certainly they are trying to prove their "scientific" theory here, that there is no resurrection and satan is Christ/God here. Oh how their hearts will be sinking coming, in the next post).


10And they that dwell upon the earth shall rejoice over them, and make merry, and shall send gifts one to another; because these two prophets tormented them that dwelt on the earth."

(Here you have it. They tormented because that is what the Word of God does when one does not surrender to God. Remember they have evil spirits too from vial 1. This is very messed up. Don't allow it. Let's stomp on evil, and evil spirits, satan and his. The Gospel Armour don't stay in home or leave home without it).


So, next verse we will see we have 3-1/2 days from their going up to Heaven and Christ return ending the second woe trumpet. That is trumpet 6. Christ comes at trumpet 7. So, we can gather the time of the 5th vial is 3-1/2 days.
