Revelation 17; The Blood Moon(s) (months); Signs of Babylon; Children of Darkness; God's Children-Children of Light

The "blood" moon(s) are a sign for God's people, and to deceive the wicked even more. Sound harsh? well, quite trying to remove Christ then, silly World. Remember, they worship the world, the physical, the weather (sun, moon, and stars for their signs without God). The book of Revelation is all about giving us the weather spiritually, the condition through them. To "weather" the storm, if you will. Overall, the signs are for you the Christian to strengthen your faith. Dreams and visions giving Christians vivid imagery of what is to come. When it comes to pass no surprises.

(Revelation 17:3)"So he carried me away in the spirit into the wilderness: and I saw a woman sit upon a scarlet (red w/orange tint) coloured beast, full of names of blasphemy, having seven heads and ten horns."
We're in the political system currently heading to the one world religious system which then becomes Babylon when that last beast begins to rise here in Revelation 17. In Revelation 13 (for exact cross reference) that begins in verse 11. The one world system/new world order when it goes from political beast (Revelation 13:10) to religious beast (Revelation 13:11-18) when satan begins to claim to be Christ/God. In Revelation 17 we get a HIStorical view of he beast going all the way back when the gentiles took control of Jerusalem. Back to the first beast which is Babylon of course. By Nebuchadnezzar in 586 BC.

Moons (months) are lunar for children of the night, they are in darkness with blood all over them. A sign of what is to come. Signs are for God's people from the Lord to strengthen faith. To give vivid imagery. Obviously so, you read His Word see it come to pass, live it, this is application.  He is relaying the spiritual to us physically to be seen. What you have to understand this gives the sign-seekers the ooh's and aah's. They see them to and everyone trying to predict what they mean, and what they mean outside of the Bible. HIS Word tells us they are for His people. For the children of light. Who can see in the darkness. 

(I Thessalonians 5:1-5) "But of the times and the seasons, brethren, ye have no need that I write unto you.

2For yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so cometh as a thief in the night.

3For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape.

4But ye, brethren, are not in darkness, that that day should overtake you as a thief.

5Ye are all the children of light, and the children of the day: we are not of the night, nor of darkness."

(This of course, has not happened yet. This is when satan comes as Christ/God they take the mark of the beast and Christ comes as a thief in the night as they did not stay on watch. Like a security guard on night watch. As Christ comes during the midnight hour. Matthew 25. The point there is He comes when the world is in darkness. He comes between 2nd and 3rd watch. Which is 9pm to 3am. In the middle is midnight).

(Luke 12:38) "And if he shall come in the second watch, or come in the third watch, and find them so, blessed are those servants."

What are they doing? Waiting on Christ, serving the Lord and enduring to the end. No Rapture/Pre Trib Rapture.

(Luke 12:35-37) "Let your loins be girded about, and your lights (lamps) burning;

(They stand for truth. The light in the darkness. The belt of truth in the Gospel Armor. Lights the Holy Spirit, the candlesticks, the church, the body of Christ as a whole).


36And ye yourselves like unto men that wait for their lord, when he will return from the wedding; that when he cometh and knocketh, they may open unto him immediately.

(This goes along with Matthew 25. They did not buy and sell in the morally corrupt system of the beast with Babylon over their heads. As children of darkness what they looked up to).

37Blessed are those servants, whom the lord when he cometh shall find watching: verily I say unto you, that he shall gird himself, and make them to sit down to meat, and will come forth and serve them."

See the door is shut to them for the marriage supper. They did not wait on their husband, but fornicated with satan, spiritually speaking:

(Matthew 25:8-10) "And the foolish said unto the wise, Give us of your oil; for our lamps are gone out.


9Butthe wise answered, saying, Not so; lest there be not enough for us and you: but go ye rather to them that sell, and buy for yourselves.


10And while they went to buy, the bridegroom came; and they that were ready went in with him to the marriage: and the door was shut."

Let's move to more of the signs,

Revelation 6:12-17 with Joel 2:28-32 these are for His sons and daughters:


6:12 "And I beheld when he had opened the sixth seal, and, lo, there was a great earthquake; and the sun became black as sackcloth of hair, and the moon became as blood;

(satan comes in/at the 6th seal, 6th trumpet, 6th vial to come claim to be Christ/God. This is the rise of Babylon here. The earthquake as the shaken comes. Now, the sun becoming black as the world is in darkness, no sun as the complete famine hits. Sackcloth if hair is symbolic for mourning and repentance for those who will be sealed. Remember, here we have the 144,000 in this period before the 7th seal. The moon as blood the same reason as Revelation 17).
Rev 6:13 And the stars of heaven fell unto the earth, even as a fig tree casteth her untimely figs, when she is shaken of a mighty wind.

(Earthquake = satan hitting the earth. This also for another study but the untimely figs is representative of being harvested out of season because they do not know the parable of the fig tree. Hence, "pray your flight not be in winter." Flight = escape to safety. Knowing when summer is near. Obviously, after Summer is the true harvest = fall/autumn. You don't harvest in the winter. The point is we are to know the seasons through the spiritual condition).

This will be a later study specific. Reference Isaiah 14:19 as well).
Rev 6:14 And the heaven departed as a scroll when it is rolled together; and every mountain and island were moved out of their places.

(Inside each seal you have beginning to end actions. Quite simply an overview/outline to see the forest for the trees, with more details in the trumps and vials).
Rev 6:15 And the kings of the earth, and the great men, and the rich men, and the chief captains, and the mighty men, and every bondman, and every free man, hid themselves in the dens and in the rocks of the mountains;


Rev 6:16 And said to the mountains and rocks, Fall on us, and hide us from the face of him that sitteth on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb:

(They want to crawl under a rock as Christ comes like a thief in the night. Because they are not expecting Him as they have worshiped satan as Christ/God).
Rev 6:17 For the great day of his wrath is come; and who shall be able to stand?

(They won't be. Every knee will bow. Like forced surrendering because they rejected the Gospel Armour. Not standing up, their loins girded with truth. Essentially the sovereignty removing God not they give up. They give up their rights. Christ takes it from satan and those oppose Him).

Remember the garden of Eden? They wanted to hide after believing then worshiping satan. Found with no clothes/garments on? Wanting to hide from the LORD in the cool of the day. So, it will be as Christ comes with that fire. A respectful bride has her clothes on. A respectful bride does not cheat, get caught then say let's eat and celebrate after being caught red-handed. As in the days of Noah, they will eat and drink, and be merry (while cheating) in Babylon here when satan comes with the flood of lies. Then expect to be served at the marriage supper. They are shut out.

(Joel 2:2-3)

2A day of darkness and of gloominess, a day of clouds and of thick darkness, as the morning spread upon the mountains: a great people and a strong; there hath not been ever the like, neither shall be any more after it, even to the years of many generations.

3"A fire devoureth before them; and behind them a flame burneth: the land is as the garden of Eden before them, and behind them a desolate wilderness; yea, and nothing shall escape them."

(Revelation 16:16) "Behold, I come as a thief. Blessed is he that watcheth, and keepeth his garments, lest he walk naked, and they see his shame."

(That's what happens when you get caught naked).
