Mark 13; Verses 14-16; Stay on Watch

(Mark 13:14-16) "But when ye shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, standing where it ought not, (let him that readeth understand,) then let them that be in Judaea flee to the mountains:

(That is in Jerusalem satan claiming to be Christ/God in the temple of God, showing himself he is God. Like the show off, show boat lying abomination he is. Flee to the mountains means don't look back. Just as Lot's wife was not to look back, longing. Here we consider satan an abomination that wastes away. Mountain here meaning protecting, covered. We're not to turn back finding satan tempting as Lot's wife did Sodom and Gomorrah is the point).

(This is our run for cover as Lot's wife did not listen to the Lord through faith as judgment was on Sodom and Gomorrah. And of course, end end judgment they will want the mountains to fall on them).

33Whosoever shall seek to save his life shall lose it; and whosoever shall lose his life shall preserve it."

(Luke 17:29-31) "But the same day that Lot went out of Sodom it rained fire and brimstone from heaven, and destroyed them all.

30Even thus shall it be in the day when the Son of man is revealed.

31In that day, he which shall be upon the housetop, and his stuff in the house, let him not come down to take it away: and he that is in the field, let him likewise not return back."

Moving onto Genesis 19. And no, those who are called to be delivered up cannot run from satan, literally.

(Genesis 19:17) "And it came to pass, when they had brought them forth abroad, that he said, Escape for thy life; look not behind thee, neither stay thou in all the plain; escape to the mountain, lest thou be consumed."

To Mark 13:15,

15And let him that is on the housetop not go down into the house, neither enter therein, to take any thing out of his house:

(Who's on the housetop? A: A watchmen. What are they warning now and then? satan is coming to claim to be Christ/God that's what. Here at this point that satan is a fake. You go into the house you cannot be on watch to see a thief coming. He is a thief to them becomes He comes unexpectedly).

Where else can I read about this house and staying on watch? Luke 12 of course and Revelation:

(Luke 12:39) "And this know, that if the goodman of the house had known what hour the thief would come, he would have watched, and not have suffered his house to be broken through."

(In other words, the exact time. The 24 hour time period here. How do we know? We are supposed to know exactly when the thief comes at midnight, the previous verse below. When the world is in complete darkness as well. Hence thief on the night. We do not leave that position on the housetop).

(Luke 12:36-38) "And ye yourselves like unto men that wait for their lord, when he will return from the wedding; that when he cometh and knocketh, they may open unto him immediately.

37Blessed are those servants, whom the lord when he cometh shall find watching: verily I say unto you, that he shall gird himself, and make them to sit down to meat, and will come forth and serve them.

For the marriage supper of the lamb. Christ served us at the cross, we serve Him until He comes back. He serves us again, reward. But more are the children of the desolate (satan) then the married wife (Isaiah 54) (Revelation 19).

38And if he shall come in the second watch, or come in the third watch, and find them so, blessed are those servants.

(2nd watch = 9pm to midnight. 3rd watch = midnight to 3am. Right in the middle is midnight is the point. What are they doing? Staying on watch. The whole point of the meaning of the housetop. Like a security guard. Now this is security you want, not as false government security).

Let's check out I Thessalonians 5. After I Thessalonians 4 talking about the gathering back to Christ. In chapter 5 what is going on during that time. NO Rapture/pre trib rapture. Let's get to the Word of GOD:

(I Thessalonians 5:2-5) "For yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so cometh as a thief in the night.

3For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape.

4But ye, brethren, are not in darkness, that that day should overtake you as a thief.

5Ye are all the children of light, and the children of the day: we are not of the night, nor of darkness."
Moving on to Mark 13:16,

16"And let him that is in the field not turn back again for to take up his garment.


(Revelation 16:16) "Behold, I come as a thief. Blessed is he that watcheth, and keepeth his garments, lest he walk naked, and they see his shame."


(Once again, stay on watch so Christ does not come as a thief in the night on you. Where are we here? the 6th vial. In the 6th vial. When satan claims to be Christ/God in/at the 6th seal, 6th trumpet, 6th vial).

Walked naked? Because they do not have on the garment of salvation. Removing it for satan. Caught red-handed. Like a wife/spouse would be caught red-handed and would instinctively would want to hide, cover themselves, then crawl under a rock as they want the mountains to fall on them (but the whole world gets to see their spiritual condition). The same mountain Christ directed to in that do not long for satan as Lot's wife. Now remember the garden of Eden as well? They wanted to hide in the cool of the day for fornicating with satan? Same here as the Lord comes with that fire. Eyes like the flame of a fire, they won't want to even look at Him. Here of course spiritually speaking.

I also can see why this generation in general cannot relate here. No respect for holiness, no respect for pure, call lust love (also to be accepted), and the list goes on. This is why the Lord teaches like this. And for those who have respect for it begin to understand with them eyes to see, and ears to hear.

Don't get caught in the house, cheating and feeling "cozy." But I have seen this generation do anything, say anything to get into someone's pants with lusts and impure motives. Very, very wrong. No conscience.

Okay, we'll conclude this study here. Please check out the next one as it gets more interesting, I hope. What you will see is the result from removing that garment, being naked fornicating with satan, and then claiming to be a virgin when Christ comes back. Woe to those with child! The nasty affair with satan, and then multiplying his works by reproducing and nursing them works along. They certainly will need a Doctor, the great physician, Christ.
