Faith by works. Faith and Science Meet. This is a good deep look when at faith and what's it supposed to mean. Like turning in the light bulb on. Let's keep those lamps lighted.
Thank you for taking a look †
(James 2:21-23) "Was not Abraham our father justified by works, when he had offered Isaac his son upon the altar?
He believed God, then acted on it, fulfilling the Father's will. An atheist will blame God. But we see our Father did not even allow Abraham to do what He did Himself, sacrifice His Son. Moreover, an atheist will blame God for His Old Testament "atrocities", they say. But what will you notice? God always brings judgment when man is destroying himself. In other words, it takes man a long time for God to come down to save man only from what man is doing to himself. Destroying God's creation God must act to stop mankind. Who would not stop their child from destroying themselves? That would be pretty cold-hearted.
(If only the atheist would take responsibility for their actions, look at what they believe, and why they believe what they believe. Stop blaming God being full of hate, bitterness thus blindness. They they may soon become intellectuals after belief and repentance. The truth is the atheist cannot see it is not the God of the Bible they believe does not exist, but their hatred and blame towards Him. Of course, they will deny that. If they could see their senseless actions they would believe/repent and would not deny that).
(Moreover, works as the result of faith is cause and effect. Like being hired for a job wanting to get paid but you don't show up. a "no call, no show." Does one deserve anything doing that? Letting the Lord down, letting yourself down, Letting down your co-workers as well. Salvation is free in Christ' sacrifice, our response is not. We should be sacrificing in our response).
22Seest thou how faith wrought with his works, and by works was faith made perfect?
(The word wrought is synergeÅ from the Greek (putting two powers/energies together).
(That is where we get the word synergy. Meaning, two forces act. Where a greater result gets accomplished. There we have it being a producer and being on production. Simple science here as the physical things of the World relate to the spiritual. God is the creator of both: As nothing dead through abiogenesis can act on it's own, creating life--it's own energy).
And so it is, spiritually, God (the greater force) saves us dead in sins, and we respond with faith energy/synergy--a producer with life now. Bringing us from death to life through the Holy Spirit with the LORD walking with us--a friend of God. And what a force it is as Abraham through his responses have lead to carrying the Gospel throughout the nations. Never underestimate the power of the Lord, and what He can do for you. Never get prideful about it either. There should be no reason to anyway. Without the Lord acting first we can do nothing. He gets ALL the credit.
abiogenesis is a fairy tale. abiogenesis definition: the hypothetical process by which living organisms develop from nonliving matter. This is an infinite--the impossible. Let's give the benefit of the doubt of that infinite (no end) happening, Then you have to explain where the original element came from to create life in the first place, another infinite. A picture of how lost we really are without the Lord before salvation living by random chance i.e. "as luck would have it." Christians do not believe out of chance. But the fact it the odds are infinite and cannot be counted supports common sense thus "intellectual" faith. After all the very definition of our own spirit from the Hebrew is the intellect our our soul.
Therefore, we conclude faith is common sense. The Author and finisher of faith through Him; God is the creator and author of science, and the scientific terms come from God. He is ALL and everything. Everything was created by Him, for Him, and through Him. The Lord Jesus Christ, Immanuel--God with us. God in the flesh as savior.
23And the scripture was fulfilled which saith, Abraham believed God, and it was imputed (to assign, to credit, count towards/take account of) unto him for righteousness: and he was called the Friend of God."
Interesting, how the word imputed means to count towards? Because at faith the infinite ends, and the questions are answered. It begins with you, the individual. Just like Abraham. Just like abiogenesis is an infinite, and this where the separation begins. Christianity is not a religion, but a relationship. As sure as the LORD is alive.
Righteousness is a condition, the condition acceptable from God, then towards God--doing right for the LORD.
AMEN †
